Youth Day

In Colorado, Youth Day Services are designed to provide children and adolescents with intellectual and developmental disabilities opportunities to build social, emotional, and life skills in a structured and supportive community setting. These services focus on promoting community inclusion, independence, personal growth, and positive peer interactions through age-appropriate activities and experiences. Youth Day Services may include recreational activities, educational support, social skill development, community outings, wellness activities, and opportunities to strengthen communication, teamwork, and self-confidence. Services are intended for eligible children and youth based on Colorado Medicaid waiver guidelines and individual service plans.
